Soy un servidor público dedicado y experimentado que está comprometido con la justicia y con mi comunidad de North Las Vegas. Actualmente me desempeño como Magistrado de Audiencias en el Tribunal del Octavo Distrito Judicial. Tengo una experiencia diversa en derecho, una pasión por la justicia y amo profundamente a esta comunidad que me crió. Soy el candidato ideal para el Departamento 2 del Tribunal de Justicia de North Las Vegas. Creo en la justicia, la integridad y la defensa de los derechos de todos. Con un historial comprobado de generar un impacto positivo en el tribunal, estoy listo para traer un cambio positivo al Departamento 2 del Tribunal de Justicia de North Las Vegas. Jonathan se desempeña actualmente como maestro de audiencias en el Tribunal del Octavo Distrito Judicial. Como maestro de audiencias, preside casos relacionados con violencia doméstica para garantizar que las víctimas de violencia doméstica estén seguras con órdenes de protección.
Positive advocate for victims
Jonathan started his legal career as a Clark County Deputy District Attorney. He was promoted to Chief Deputy District Attorney. During his time in the District Attorney's office he spent years working on the Elder Abuse Unit helping ensure that some of our most vulnerable citizens were protected.
Positive voice to protect the rights of all
Jonathan worked for several years defending the rights of those accused of crimes. He understands the important of ensuring everyone has a fair and equal opportunity to be heard. Jonathan will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that everyone that comes before him is treated fairly and that justice is served.
Positive Community role model
Jonathan gives back to his community and strives to be a positive mentor and role model for our next generation. He volunteers with the District Court Truancy Diversion Program working to keep our youth in school. He serves as a mentor with the Clark County Summer Business Institute helping high school students learn how to deal with the challenges of entering the workforce. He also has served as a Transitioning into Practice mentor assisting new attorneys transition from students to practicing lawyers.
